Last week, I asked my students to demonstrate what they have been learning about Universal Design for Learning, Dyslexia, and DLD using the form of representation that inspires them the most. I was delighted to see so much creativity! Some students submitted illustrations, some submitted mind maps, and one student submitted a fabulous Prezi (which I have never been able to master ;). There were so many creative and thoughtful representations of their learning! Below, I have shared a work of art (from a student who has dyslexia), a podcast, and a magnificent poem. Enjoy their brilliance! These are some of Manitoba's future K-4 teachers!
